Fiona Palmer lives in the tiny rural town of Pingaring in Western Australia, three and a half hours south-east of Perth. She writes her own brand of stories from the country to the coast.
It was while running the local shop in Pingaring in 2006, in a partnership with my Mum, that I began writing down a story that was roaming around in my head. Lo and behold, this was the start of my writing career. The Family Farm is my first book. Fast forward ten years and I’m now working as a farmhand (farming is a passion), my two kids are nearly young adults, I’m back racing speedway and loving life. I still can’t believe I’ve written this many books!!! I feel very lucky in life. Find what makes you happy and fill every moment as life is too short.
Josh Langley was told he would amount to nothing in life, having failed high school (twice) and being unemployed for several years, but that didn’t stop Josh from becoming an award-winning radio copywriter and award-winning author. His quirky and inspirational books have inspired thousands of people of all ages around the world to see life from an entirely new perspective.
